Discover the ProjectNew Visigothia is structured around three main areas of activity.
Academic studies on the Visigothic Kingdom, its institutions, material culture and legacy in the Iberian Peninsula.
Contextualized revitalization of cultural, linguistic and traditional elements of Visigothic heritage.
Network of researchers, collaborators and enthusiasts dedicated to the serious study of Gothic history and culture.
We are a project and organization created to restore faith, culture and Visigoth society.
We take inspiration from Anglo-Saxon heathenry projects like Mercinga Rice, Vinland Rice, Eald Rice among others, and one of the ancient Roman religion in particular: Nova Roma.
Our mission is to see our Visigothic cultural heritage reborn in the world at various times in our ancestral history. But as far as faith is concerned, only the pre-Christian period does not matter.
However, we believe that, even during the period of Arian Christianity, our ancestors still worshiped the old gods, so we borrowed much from their organization from "Prima Spania".
Among some of our goals we have:
The latest productions and activities of the project.
Organizational structure and values that guide the project.
New Visigothia organizes itself as a cultural and academic institution dedicated to the study and revitalization of Visigothic heritage. Our structure combines historical elements with contemporary cultural management practices.
We operate through a Board of Directors responsible for strategic guidance, with specialized committees in historical research, cultural reconstruction and institutional relations.
Commitment to scientific methodologies and peer review.
Clear disclosure of methods, sources and decision-making processes.
Collaboration with academic institutions and related projects.
Contextualized and critical approach to historical sources.
Events, activities and visual elements related to the project.
